Medicine Buddha Brass Statue-10″

This is a 10″ high Medicine Buddha Brass Statue.

The statue is about 10″ high 8″ wide & 5 thick and weighs about 7Lb.

The Buddha was born into an aristocratic family in the Shakya clan but eventually renounced lay life. According to Buddhist tradition, after several years of mendicancy, meditation, and asceticism, he awakened to understand the mechanism which keeps people trapped in the cycle of rebirth

Due to the beliefs of having healing capacity, most of the people house Medicine Buddha statues in their prayer room. It is believed that by placing the Medicine Buddha statues at their home, the healing powers of the family members are increased and negative powers will not be able to enter the house.
